It all started when…
At 22, I was stuck in a job scheduling medical exams. Humility hit when my boss asked me to switch to reception answering the phones, but I failed at that too and got let go. I know in my heart I did not belong behind a desk. So I decided to chase my passion for design and landed a job at a furniture store helping homeowners pick custom furniture and fabrics. It was there that I flourished, becoming a top designer and even considered for management. I remember one woman specifically who slipped me her phone number and told me to call her when I started my own business one day. she knew, before I did, that this was my true calling. it was the very first time I felt good at something and good about what I was doing and where i was. it was this job that led me to design school and now I run a thriving interior design business that I built from the ground up. this is the most i’ve ever made, all by doing what I love!
